Where In The Bible Will I Find:

Can We Know God Exists?

"Theism” is a belief in God while “atheism” denies God. Atheism has not and never will be able to prove that God does not exist. Those who say God is not real are fools. "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good" (Psalm 14:1).

There is no logical way to explain the origin of things apart from God because all things exist either because of creation or evolution. Design and order in the universe demand a creator, a designer--that is GOD. For example, a 747 jumbo jet did not just fall into place as a result of a tornado passing through a junk yard. A tree with branches and leaves did not happen by accident! To NOT believe in God requires one to ignore the evidence, pretend it does not exist and blindly swallow the biggest lie that has ever been told. You might as well believe that baseballs grow on trees as to believe there is no designer. “Life” and “order” in the universe demands a source for both--that is GOD.

Evidence for God’s existence is found both inside and outside the Bible. "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork" (Psalm 19:1). "For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God" (Hebrews 3:4). "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse" (Romans 1:20).

Moses revealed that God is the creator. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). Paul also declared the existence of God in Athens. "God that made the world and all things therein,...he is Lord of heaven and earth...he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men...and hath determined...the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us" (Acts 17:24-29).

Faith is not a blind leap in the dark, but is based on evidence (Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11:1,6).
