Many do not seem to understand the importance of hearing, believing, and obeying the Truth today.  Some suggest that Gospel preachers spend too much time emphasizing Truth and man's obedience
to it, instead of causing men to feel good in their sermons.  Many today are not finding the Truth by which to be saved, for the same reason that a robber does not find a policeman, they do not want to!  It takes study to know the Truth (II Timothy 2:15, John 8:32).  Truth is necessary for man to hear, learn, and obey in order to accept the invitation of Christ (Matthew 11:28-30).  Truth is the power sent by God for the salvation of all who will obey Christ (Hebrews 5:8-9).  Truth is the drawing power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16).  Please take the Bible in hand and read the following references.
